Personal data

Privacy policy.

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to take back control of your data.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is IBWAH, registered in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to contact@ibwah.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you send us. No profiling, no data bought from third parties.

Contact form

  • Full name, company, email address, phone number if you provide one;
  • the subject of your enquiry and the content of your message.

Project submission form

  • Your professional details: name, role, company, industry, email, phone, location, website;
  • information about your project: division concerned, amount sought, stage of the business, revenue, deadlines, budget, description;
  • the sharing link to your documents, where you send us one. The site does not accept file uploads: your documents stay on the storage space you have chosen, and we only reach them if you grant us access.

Technical data

  • Our host records connection logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security and aggregate statistics;
  • we use no analytics tool and no advertising tracker.

3. Why we process it

  • Answering your enquiry and reviewing your submission: the processing rests on your own approach and, where relevant, on pre-contractual steps taken at your request;
  • managing the commercial relationship if we work together: performance of the contract;
  • keeping the site secure and preventing automated submissions: legitimate interest;
  • meeting our accounting and legal obligations once the relationship becomes contractual.

We will not send you marketing communications without your explicit agreement.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry with no follow-up: three years from the last exchange, then deleted;
  • Submission with no engagement: three years, unless you ask for earlier deletion;
  • Contractual relationship: for the duration of the engagement, then the statutory retention period applicable to accounting and contractual records;
  • Host technical logs: twelve months at most.
  • Email alerts: the delivery logs kept by our sending provider are retained for thirty days at most.

5. Who has access

Your data is handled by the IBWAH team reviewing your enquiry. It may be hosted or transmitted by the technical providers strictly required to run the site:

  • Vercel, which hosts the site, runs the function handling form submissions and keeps the connection logs;
  • Notion, where your enquiry is recorded so the team reviewing it can follow it up;
  • Resend, which delivers the email alert telling us about your enquiry;
  • Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address to Google's servers. To avoid this, the font files can be hosted directly on our own server.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. No document you send us is shared with a third party without your agreement.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies, neither for analytics nor for advertising. No consent banner is therefore required.

Two items are stored in your browser's local storage, purely for your reading comfort:

  • ibwah-theme: your choice between light and dark mode;
  • ibwah-promo: whether you closed the promotional banner.

They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and disappear when you clear your browser's site data.

7. Human verification on forms

To block automated submissions, our forms use a mechanism running entirely in your browser: a field invisible to humans, a check on how fast the form was filled, and a small cryptographic computation. No third-party captcha service is involved, and nothing in this mechanism can identify or track you.

8. Security

Traffic to and from the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to review them. The financial and strategic documents you entrust to us are treated as confidential, including after our exchanges end.

9. Transfers outside Côte d'Ivoire

Some technical providers may host data outside Côte d'Ivoire. We favour providers offering appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. The providers used are listed in section 5.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as a right to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise them, write to contact@ibwah.com stating your request. We answer within thirty days. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may refer the matter to the Ivorian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARTCI), the competent authority for personal data protection. Visitors residing in the European Union may contact their own national supervisory authority.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The last update date appears at the top of this page. In case of a substantial change, we will inform the people concerned by email where possible.

12. Contact us

For any question about your data: contact@ibwah.com, or through the contact form.
